Metrics
Metrics add a quantity or quality to an element that can be measured or otherwise determined. Typically this is used to express information about the performance, importance or status of the respective element.
Combined with a colour coding scheme, metrics can be used to display a heat map to indicate areas that need attention or are otherwise in focus.
